Last updated: 2026-07-02

This Privacy Policy explains how Precise Impact ('we', 'us', 'our') collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit the Automagical website (the 'Site') or opt in to receive the book, updates or other resources. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

The Site is operated by Precise Impact. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at ashley@preciseimpact.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Information you give us - such as your name and email address when you opt in to get the book, download a resource, or contact us.
  • Usage data - such as pages visited, referring links and approximate location, collected automatically through cookies and analytics.
  • Communication data - such as your replies, preferences and whether you have opened or clicked our emails.

How we use your data

  • To deliver the book, resources or information you requested.
  • To send you related updates and marketing by email, where you have opted in or where we have a legitimate interest, always with the ability to unsubscribe.
  • To measure and improve the Site and our content.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

Legal bases

We rely on your consent (for example, for email marketing and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (to run and improve our business), and legal obligation where applicable.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the Site and our communications, including our content management system (Sanity), our website hosting and object storage (Railway), our email marketing platform, and analytics providers (such as Google Analytics 4, PostHog and the Meta Pixel). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Some may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email ashley@preciseimpact.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The 'last updated' date shows when it was last revised.
